Scott Fox's Official Internet Riches Web Site and Blog - Online Marketing Expert Advice to Help You Make More Money from Your e-Riches E-Commerce Lifestyle Business
Video blogging can help you attract more customers.
As I'm sure you've noticed, online video is exploding. Last year the average US viewer was watching more than 187 videos online per month, and that number is only increasing.
While it may sound too techie, "video blogging" just means posting short videos on your website instead of (or in addition to) the short text articles most bloggers post.
You might be intimidated by the technical details of producing online video (or are just shy about appearing on camera), but video posts to your blog are easier than you think.
To get started in online video there are a lot of complicated strategies and equipment that you can use.
But instead here’s the plain and simple way I recommend that can get you started in online video quickly and inexpensively:
1. Camera: Almost any video camera today can plug into your PC to upload video to the web. Use your point and shoot digital camera, a hand held camcorder like the Flip or my personal preference, a web cam. (Watch the video above for demonstrations of how easy these are to use.)
2. Setup: Prep some notes about what you want to say, and find a pleasant, quiet and well lit spot to use as a background for your video shoot.
3. Shoot: Turn on the camera and start talking. Be sure to save your new video when finished.
4. Upload your video to YouTube: This is the part where non-technical people get intimidated but it's really quite easy. An account at YouTube is fr

How to Build an Email List – My 7 "Cs" Basics of Successful Email List-building
1. Collectors: You must prominently display the signup for your noozles if you want people to sign up. This should be automated using email service providers like Aweber, Feedblitz, Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.
2. Content: To attract subscribers you must offer valuable content (not just promote your own products).
3. Curate: You don't have to write all your email content yourself. Instead you can find and select the best stuff in your field from around the web for sharing. (This also draws attention to your list from bigger players and potential promotional partners (two fer!).
4. Coupons & Contests: To convince people to sign up for your email list, bribery is definitely an option. Incentives like discounts, ebooks, and access to exclusive information can help a lot.
5. Customer Case Studies: Talking about your customers both demonstrates how to actually use your products/services successfully, plus it makes your best customers feel important. (another two-fer!)
6. Concise: Everybody is in a hurry these days. Keep your content short to increase its appeal.
7. Controversy to Attract Comments: Getting people talking – whether its by forwarding your emails, Tweeting, "liking" it on Facebook, or commenting on your blog - is good publicity.
I hope those 7 "Cs" are helpful to your email list-building.

Today every subculture deserves its own online "email magazine".
I call these "noozles" because repeating "free email newsletter" over and over is a mouthful!
Both B2B and B2C markets can be monetized with noozles. You create or find content that is of unique interest to your target market, package that news up into a convenient email newsletter, and start emailing it out.
I know that sounds too easy...
Print magazines traditionally served these niche markets but today print is dying. It's just too expensive to print and mail all that paper!
Plus, the Internet has enabled millions of smaller sub-cultures to flourish as previously isolated individuals find others that share their interests online.
You can help these communities grow, and make money doing it, by publishing email noozles targeted to their specific interests.
I like Noozles because they are:
Inexpensive to produce – you can write your own content or even repurpose publicly available news.
Automated – inexpensive email services can help you reach a worldwide audience.
Viral – email newsletters are easy to forward which means organic growth of your subscriber list through online word of mouth.
Convenient – even easier to keep up with than blogs, email newsletters arrive automatically right where most people spend their time, in the email inbox.
Profitable – you can start with small affiliate ads and easily expand to large custom ads without much additional production work required.
Scalable – while it will probably require your personal involvement to get started, once established the on-going production of a noozle can be outsourced to administrative freelancers to let you move on to other projects.
Affiliate programs are good sources of ads that may appeal to your noozle's audience. I also recommend looking to the service providers who serve your group - maybe lawyers, banks, insurance companies, conferences, or even print magazines.
Even with a small audience, if your noozle reaches a tightly defined and hard to reach audience, you're likely to find advertisers who want to pay you to reach them, too.
(Yes, you may be able to charge for subscriptions if your noozle is really good. But in today's competitive online publishing race, that's more likely a "phase two" step for after you've established a strong free readership.)
What I like Best about Noozles is the Business Model
Starting a noozle of your own is very inexpensive. All that you need is access to the Web, a good idea, and probably a monthly subscription to professional email services publishing company.
I like and use both Aweber and Feedblitz (affiliate links). They only cost about $20/month to get started.
Finding Content for Free
You may not have ever seen yourself as a "publisher" but producing noozle content is not as hard as you may think.
Obviously to attract subscribers in your target market, your new noozle must be interesting or valuable (and hopefully both!). Of course you can write as much content as you'd like. That presumes you like to write and that people like to read what you write, though.
It's a lot easier to produce a mix of original content (which you can write yourself of get from freelancers), plus free content. In fact, many successful noozles operate primarily on free content!
Noozles often make a business out of borrowing, linking to, summarizing, or repurposing content from publicly available info like press releases, blogs, and company web sites.
By doing the legwork of collecting and filtering this info for your audience, you are performing a valuable service for your readers. No one has enough time to read everything today, so the convenience offered by a targeted email noozle is appreciated by almost anyone.
In fact, noozles that land right in your inbox are even more convenient than blogs.
If you are looking for an online business, do you think that starting a noozle could be for you?
What do you think of this business model? Have you tried (or considered) publishing a Noozle yourself?

Best Email Marketing Services Recommendations Which is the best email marketing company for you to choose? Today most of these companies offer similar tools, so if you stick to a top name brand you should get decent service.
The most popular companies include Constant Contact, Vertical Response, Mail Chimp, Aweber, and Feedblitz.
I personally use and recommend both Feedblitz (if you have an RSS feed from your blog to power your email publishing) and Aweber (they include free autoresponders in their service which are the best I've found). You can check them out using the affiliate links here and elsewhere on ScottFox.com.
Although social media marketing like Facebook, Twitter, and blogging get more press, email marketing is the best strategy to use for long term revenue growth.

Together we developed a personalized Action Plan for her that is sure to help her make more money online doing something she is excited about.
If you would like to speak with me, I'd be happy to help you, too. These calls can be booked online here through the Scott Fox Shop here and come with a 100% money-back guarantee, too.

If you have a blog, I recommend using Feedblitz to automatically convert your blog posts RSS feed into email newsletters.
Feedblitz specializes in this clever (and automatic!) conversion of RSS feeds into email newsletters. Watch this short video to learn how to use Feedblitz and why I think this production strategy can be a great time-saving marketing tool for you.
You Need Email Newsletters, too! If you have a blog, don't presume that everyone online is going to visit it regularly OR that they are all techie enough to know how to subscribe to your blog's RSS feed.
Using your blog posts as the basis for an email newsletter is a great way to get double duty out of your blog posts, and expand your marketing reach online.
Feedblitz is the best at this - the service can help you create, customize, and send these free noozles automatically on whatever schedule you like. (And the service also handles all the email address subscribes/unsubscribes, too.)
Feedblitz pricing starts at just $1.49/month and rises to $49.95/month for up to 5,000 subscribers. More importantly, there's a 30 day free trial you can take to check out Feedblitz for yourself.
