I'd been feeling a little stuck, and wondering which way to go with my trail running site, and some other ideas I had, so I booked a private coaching call with Scott. We had this call last night and I'm very glad I turned to Scott for help. I came away with lots to think about and renewed enthusiasm for my project.

We discussed how I could move my trail running site forward, in terms of attracting more visitors, building a list of subscribers, finding out what people want from the site and possible new directions for the site. Hi everybody,

After putting together tons of information, finding a code writer, starting a site draft, looking for a logo, thinking about meta text, competition, SEO, VA, etc etc etc, I was starting to feel overwhelmed and I was slowing down.

As we all know Scott can talk and talk and talk about e-business :-) but, as every one having already experienced the coaching calls knows, our coach can really listen.

I presented my project to Scott and parallel to that he commented and challenged every idea I came with. He also pointed me in some directions I had not yet properly covered, for example the legal aspect.

I knew going into the call with Mr. Fox that my biggest problem was my "Mr. Haney from Green Acres" approach to Internet Marketing. He was able to identify with that, and gave me numerous approaches to help to correct that, and that's what I was looking for. After reviewing Scott's videos and learning other things on his blog I decided it was time to really get focused on doing what I came here to do, building a website. So a private call was in order. I would recommend this to anyone who is a click millionaire and really hasn't gotten off the ground.

I had ideas about what I was going to do but Scott quickly made me aware that there were possibly other better avenues.

The call provided ample time for any of my questions. I'm now looking forward to getting it done.

If you haven't done a coaching call, you should seriously consider it. I just finished a call with Scott.

He gave me some incredibly useful advice that I would have never come up with from other sources. I will be implementing his advice over the next few weeks and will let the CM community know how it goes.

Here's just one example - he pointed out that my site feels anonymous, not something you want in a community. He gave me this as a general comment illustrated by specific things about my site that created this feeling. I never saw that before but now it's a glaring flaw to me. I will work on giving my site a personality.

I continue to be impressed with Scott, and also with the input from CM members. Such a fantastic resource.

If you're an art business owner like me, you wear a lot of hats. Handling e-commerce and everything else can be a bit daunting. And, too often my thinking was paralyzed with big picture tasks instead of with small bite sized actionable tasks.

Since my goal is to expand our business, I needed to think beyond the familiar. If you're interested in creating a viable e-commerce business, you owe it to yourself to talk to Scott. His points are cogent and come with years of experience.

Since we no longer exhibit at art shows, we welcomed Scott's recommendations of how to strengthen and personalize our product offerings and consumer experience in a virtual setting. One specific point Scott noted about our site was that it was too much about the art and not enough about the commerce. While it wasn't fun hearing this, it was a compelling point. We have our work cut out for us, but at least there's a plan with measurable goals.

I believe that Scott has done a great job at navigating folks like me into thinking and acting beyond the obvious and into the profitable. One more thing, Scott's book e-Riches 2.0 is a must. I found it to be a friendly and must-read for cogent e-commerce practices.
