Many of you know that I grew up in Detroit. In the city of Detroit. A city that has truly hit hard times.
Over the years since I moved to Los Angeles, I visit Detroit and do what I can. Helping those stuck in the economic catastrophe that Southeastern Michigan has become is never far from my mind.
Today I’d like to offer some additional help: Free scholarships to my Click Millionaires private online success coaching community.
This is part of a new “scholarship program” I’m launching that is part of the Click Millionaires philosophy of reinvesting in communities that deserve it.
E-business today offers the kinds of opportunities that anyone can leverage, and unfortunately Detroiters need more help than most.

Hello,
I just finished reading your first book and am so looking forward to reading your new book. I live just outside of Detroit and the economy is the worst we have ever seen it. I have been searching on the internet and reading everything I can without spending much money, with our finances being so bad, for 3 months now trying to figure out a way to make some extra money. Thank, Lin

I live just two streets from Detroit. I grew up in Detroit. I have a business that works in Detroit which has gone down over half of what it was profiting. I also am an artist and have been doing art shows and fairs which has not made much profit due to the poor economy here. My art websites are really doing poorly with sales. I am also in the beginning stages of losing my home of 14 years. I would really love it if my internet sales would get better. I have tried everything to sell from Twittering to Facebook, I get fantastic comments about my work, but nothing sells. I just don't get it. Please help.

Hello Lin and Jacqueline,
You both sound like great candidates for these scholarships.
Can you share some links to your web sites or other "proof" that you are Detroiters?
Thanks.

I live in Detroit on the North End. I graduated from Cass Tech and went to attend Xavier University in New Orleans, LA where I received both my bachelors and master's degrees. I returned home to a city where I saw so much promise. I really think sometimes people have to be away from something to later appreciate it even more. So with all of the flaws, Detroit still has plenty of amazing people with talent and skills that need massive exposure.
I'm extremely committed to young Detroit and focused on both retaining and attracting talent to the area because that is what our survival lies upon.

Hi Scott Fox
I currently live in Detroit on the west side and have been here all my life. Though I'll admit we have our 'blighted' areas, I still believe I live in a great city with great people and great potential.
I'm currently pursuing my dream of writing and speaking full-time (currently I also hold local workshops on publishing and I speak in high schools) and I've recently been educating myself via books and online training sites on internet marketing, Vlogging, SEO, etc. My mentor referred me to your sight and I am very much interested in receiving your scholarship.
My books are inspirational and motivational and I'm looking forward to learning how to gain more knowledge about how to successfully market them online so I can help change the world (literally - through the world wide web :0)
Thanks for the opportunity, and for your time and consideration.

Oops, I apologize for the typo - it should have read 'site' and not 'sight.' Thanks again.

My wife teaches in Detroit Public Schools and we had a homeless gentlemen living in our Detroit house, helps out her disabled uncle living in Detroit, and we live in Dearborn. I am unemployed and recovering from a cardiac condition and some other medical conditions. I help out my wife with her tech questions but my memory has some problems. I would like to have a lower stress way to make money than an IT position. I would also like to help out other seniors and kids get into setting up web businesses more so than even setting up my own business. My wife says set up your own first but I am interested in so many things I get nothing done. I did buy your first book and I won the second book but I got even sicker for over a month in Feb which delayed things a bit. Any suggestions about how to start? Thanks for reading this! I have LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Plaxo, and some other social media accounts I can't even remember.
