Today in the United States it's a national holiday called Thanksgiving. As part of my annual family celebration, I'd like to thank YOU.
The damaged economy has hit everyone but hard work and passion for what I do each day has been rewarded by YOU, my readers. Thanks to you it's been a pretty good year for me, my family, and for ScottFox.com.
I'd like to thank YOU if you are a:
- Reader of and commenter on my E-Commerce Success blog
- Reader of my new book, e-Riches 2.0: Next Generation Online Marketing Strategies
- Reader of my first book, Internet Riches (which is still selling like crazy!)
- Listener of my E-Commerce Success Show free podcasts about online marketing
- One of the worldwide members of Click Millionaires, my new private coaching social network
I will never get to meet most of you in person. But I appreciate your time and attention.
I hope that my work is helping make your life better.
Happy Thanksgiving!
p.s. Stay tuned for my "12 Days of Christmas" Charity Telethon next week. It's premiering online at ScottFox.com on Wednesday 12/2 at 3pm ET. I'll have lots of prizes to give away to REALLY thank you!

I am currently reading your Internet riches book and already have your e-riches 2.0 on my kindle to read next. I listen to your podcasts each day on the way to work. I am trying to start a non-profit fundraising organization to help Childrens Charities and have started a virtual mall to also help raise funds for this purpose. I have found a great deal of valuable information between your podcasts and your books. Thank you for your assistance and although I know my website needs alot of work I would consider it an honor if you might take a look and give me a readers digest version of what I can do....although I should tell you that I have no ecommerce experience, but am trying to apply what I learn each day. Thanks for all your information and support.

Hi Barry,
I'm glad that Internet Riches and my podcasts have helped you take action for children.
My quick reaction to your web site is that it looks good but it sends very mixed messages. The home page looks like a news site focused on child exploitation stories. But your statement above (and the sidebar on the site) say it's about raising money for charities to help those children. Then the top listings in the left menu are Donate, My Photos, Video, and Blog. Your products for sale are only 1 link in 6th place.
Obviously these topics are all related but if you want to sell things, I'd sell things. If you want to be a news site, I'd start there. If you want to share a travel or photo blog, split the blog out and post your photos there, etc.
It's going to be tough for you to build an audience or make money if you try to do all of these things concurrently. Instead, I'd try starting with just one as your lead topic. Build an audience that way, then expand into the other field.
If you'd like more detailed feedback and support, please consider joining http://www.ClickMillionaires.com. My private coaching community would probably be very helpful to you. We discuss web site strategy and niche development issues like this all the time in the friendly members-only Forum. (There's currently a free trial available at ClickMillionaires.com.)
I hope that's helpful.
Thanks for visiting ScottFox.com.
