Behind the Scenes: Recording the Audiobook of Internet Riches

Did you email me asking for an audiobook version of Internet Riches?  Lots of people have... 

Guess what?  Finally the Internet Riches audiobook version has arrived!

This Brilliance Audio audiobook version is a full, unabridged edition of Internet Riches.  I know because I spent 3 days in a studio reading it myself to create this product for you!   (See below for my "photo essay" of the recording process...)

For my many fellow authors (and aspiring authors), here's the "behind the scenes" story of how an audio book is produced:

Day One:  Fly across the country to the small midwestern town of Grand Haven, Michigan.  (This took me an entire day because of the time zone differences and the lack of direct flights between LAX and the local airport in Muskegon, MI!)

Day Two:  Report for "work" at the headquarters of Brilliance Audio, the publishers of the new audio book edition of Internet Riches.  Brilliance Audio is the largest independent publisher of audio books in the world (or was until the company was recently acquired by Amazon.com!).

My new best friends, Laura 1 (the director) and Laura 2 (the engineer), locked me in a studio!

I started reading. ...and reading...

Day Three: and reading.... and reading.... while Laura and Laura kept track of our progress...

Day Four:  More reading... (with lunch breaks of course)

We finally wrapped up the cover-to-cover reading by mid-day Friday.  Whew! The result?  The shiny new audio editions of Internet Riches! I hope you'll buy an Internet Riches audio book for yourself or a friend.  (I give the profits to educational charities!)
