Payloadz: This company specializes in automating the sale and secure downloading of digital files. Their customer support can be a bit spotty but they are generally reliable.
Best of all, if you are selling e-books, recipes, patterns, or any sort of document or file-based content, Payloadz can make your life a lot easier by hosting the files, processing transactions, and delivering your sales revenue right to you.

p.s. This is an area in which I'm particularly interested for my next book. Do you know of good competitors to Payloadz? Digital product file delivery e-commerce solutions seems an area ripe for more entrepreneurs. Please email us or post in the Comments if you have suggestions.

I'm considering two others which also appear to be popular; Clickbank and E-junkie.

Thanks, Eric.
As far as I know, neither E-Junkie nor Clickbank allows easy purchase of multiple items in a single transaction with a single confirmation email to the customer.
Last time we tested Payloadz was the only one that offered those features in a shopping cart type experience.
Hard to believe that they are the only ones in the market, so I'd love any updates you can share on your experiences with those providers.

Tradebit.com lets you put multiple items in your shopping cart and checkout. I bought two items from them the other day, from two different sellers, just one total payment transaction and one download page for me (the customer).

Thanks for this tip about Tradebit.com, Vicki.
It looks like a fairly small company but worth investigating.
